Rex Infernus
Rex Infernus is the next and final Round-Based Zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Treyarch built the host title; Activision publishes it. The map arrived with Season 05 Reloaded on 20 August 2026 at 9:00 AM PT as a title update, not a separate SKU. The PC Steam host is app 3606480, shipped 13 November 2025. PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net, Steam, and Game Pass all carry the same Reloaded payload.
Official briefing: cleanse the Shadowsmith places of power, find the Warden’s inner sanctum, and put an end to his loathsome existence. The Main Quest is playable the moment the map goes live. Directed Mode is later; finishing early awards a unique Calling Card variant. Widow’s Wine returns as a Perk-a-Cola that is new to Black Ops 7 on this map. The Mystery Box adds Ultra-Rarity TR2 and Olympia guns whose stats rival a Wonder Weapon.

Trailer versus cinematic
Call of Duty’s YouTube channel posted the gameplay trailer on 13 August 2026 as “Rex Infernus Zombies Trailer | Call of Duty: Black Ops 7” (uHzq830dd7Y) and a separate Reloaded cinematic the same week (2VugSq0Hmxk). The Season 05 patch notes embed that trailer alongside the Reloaded Zombies payload. This board switches the facade between those two first-party videos. Posters are local Steam stills from app 3606480, not ytimg thumbs, and there are no invented chapter timestamps.
Watch the trailer before you load in if you want the spider-sac tone without a puzzle list. The cinematic is the story poster for the Warden confrontation, not a substitute for the three official Main Quest sentences. Instagram and X official profiles exist, but this capture window did not yield extra labeled Rex Infernus stills from those feeds.

How the map actually ships
Install Season 05 Reloaded on a copy of Black Ops 7. The map is the Reloaded headline, with Last Call as the celebrating XP event: Operator Skins, a Loading Screen, and a Weapon Charm earned from XP across modes. Treyarch-hosted ZombieZone raced the Main Quest on launch morning: 8 AM PT pre-show, 9 AM PT go-live. That window is the same 9:00 AM PT go-live printed in the Reloaded announcement.
The Map dossier covers platforms and the install window. The mission board tracks official goals and stamped rewards: Bloodthorn, Calling Cards, 10,000 XP rows, the pre-Directed variant, and Mastery. None of those rows require invented Easter Egg step names.
You do not buy a Rex Infernus SKU. You patch Black Ops 7 to Season 05 Reloaded. Last Call is the XP celebration, not a fifth version id. ZombieZone is the 8 AM PT pre-show / 9 AM PT go-live creator race, not a playlist. If the client is still on the 13 November 2025 launch build, this map is absent.

What ships beside the briefing
Deathspinners swarm with a slowing web projectile and fast melee. The Web Mother screams, lunges, webs the crew, and cocoons zombies into hazards. The Warden is the story antagonist whose line is “The end of your miserable lives is at hand.” Widow’s Wine answers low-health melee with a web explosion and eight named augments. The Titan Trap pulls zombies and slams the ground; activators take damage if they linger in the flurry.
Cursed mode strips Main Quest guidance, limits the HUD, and starts you on a Pistol. Pack-a-Punch camos Codex, Arcane, and Ward are named on official Reloaded art. Fully Packed is the Ultra GobbleGum that jumps the held gun to Pack-a-Punch Level III. TR2 and Olympia sit in the Rex Infernus Mystery Box as Ultra-Rarity Legacy Weapons with full Pack-a-Punch and Ammo Mods.

If you need the install path, open The Map. If you need the three official goals and the Bloodthorn skin, open the Main Quest board. Named threats live under Warden's Horde. Perk and augment comparison is Widow's Wine. Titan Trap, Cursed rules, and the three camos are Map Systems.
Mystery Box guns and Fully Packed are Legacy Weapons. The unpublished Wonder Weapon proper name and the Bloodthorn skin are Wonder Weapon. Dates, platforms, and Last Call sit on Season 05 Reloaded. Launch questions and official vocabulary are FAQ and Glossary.
